CLAT 2022 Registration

The authorities have released the CLAT 2022 notification for the candidate to register themselves for CLAT 2022. The aspirants have one year now. To give the best effort students must start to prepare as CLAT 2022 exam date is just a few months away.

CLAT 2022 Syllabus

CLAT syllabus can be divided into 6 sections.

English Language – Here the comprehension skills in the language gets tested. A passage is given in this section to pull out an assumption from it and point out the passage’s main issue.

Current Affairs and General Knowledge – This section tests the knowledge of the candidate in Modern History (1600-1947), art and culture of India with contemporary International affairs and current national affairs. These questions do not always belong to the legal sphere.

Quantitative Techniques – This section is dedicated to mathematics. The maths we get in class 10 are prototypes of these questions. Basic arithmetic, percentages, ratios, averages, profit and loss are given in the question. The analytical ability is seen here.

Logical Reasoning – The questions scrutinize the applicant’s critical aspects. Lots of practice can make this section easy to solve in the exam.

Analytical Reasoning – Questions in this section tests the candidate’s ability to solve puzzles, circular arrangements, syllogism, and inequality.

Legal Reasoning – Lastly, the most important part of the question paper is legal reasoning. This section examines the knowledge of fundamental legal principles of the constitution. This section can inform about the legal awareness of the candidate.

CLAT 2022 Application Form

CLAT 2022 application form will be available in January 2022 after the official notification. The candidates of GEN/OBC/SAP have to pay Rs. 4000 for the application fee, while candidates of SC/ST will need the application fee of Rs. 3500.

PWD, General, and OBC candidates can pay the CLAT 2022 application fee of RS. 4000 online or through e-Challan.

CLAT 2022 Question Pattern

The exam of CLAT 2022 will be a 2 hours test. The test will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. Every question will carry one mark. The concept of negative marking is applicable in this exam, and every candidate will lose 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. The below table will clear the question patter further.

CLAT 2022 Exam Date

The council has not declared the date of the exam yet. But candidates can expect it to be in March 2022. The council will declare the exact date soon after the registration is over. Till then applicants should prepare for the exam and get ready to offer the exam their best self.

CLAT 2022 Eligibility

To apply to CLAT 2022, the candidate must be qualified for their class 12th examination from any recognized board. The students of the general category must attain 45% marks. And SC, ST category gets a relaxation in marks.

They have to score 40% in order to sit for the exam. OBC category also has to acquire 45% of marks. If students fail to secure the mentioned percentage in the 12th examination, they are not eligible to sit for the exam.

CLAT 2022 Age Limit

CLAT 2022 does not provide any maximum age of the candidate. As a result, the candidate does not have to hurry to apply. They can prepare well and then decide to sit for the exam. The candidates do not have to face any age boundaries in order to sit for CLAT 2022.
